Recruitment
Achieving success in business demands that the right people must be in the right roles. To help our clients achieve that we work in partnership with them to design and implement robust assessment processes based on recognised behavioural selection techniques.
Our Approach
Our approach to behavioural assessment involves looking at how people do their jobs, as well as what that particular job is. The four factors which are recognised as having a continual influence on effective performance are behaviours, environment, clarity, knowledge and skills.
To assess an individual for a specific role the two most important factors affecting performance are Behaviours and Knowledge & Skills.
By behaviours we simply mean what people say and what people do. At work behaviours can be categorised for ease of analysis to provide us with a framework within which to give feedback.
Effectiveness in any job is about two things: what we do and how we do it. The personal qualities that people bring to a role can make a significant difference to their success or failure. With self-awareness, the right motivation and support many preferred behaviours can change rapidly and permanently contributing greatly to improved performance.
We use several different types of exercise during Assessment Centres. Some are designed for the candidate to interact with a role-player, with one to one exercises while others are group activities. Overall, they might include written tasks, in-tray activities, one to one meetings, presentations, group exercises, fact finding and behavioural interviewing.
Whether creating new teams or simply expanding your existing operation, this robust approach to recruitment can only enhance your customer focused culture and success.
